Mental Holiday… Acid is a 60% indica hybrid that is our popular take on the classic NYC Diesel. This is a cannabis strain that is fairly easy to manage in the grow room and rewarding in its production. Paradise Seeds’ Acid builds on the great taste and effect of the original NYC Diesel, with the addition of genetics from the Paradise vault to create an enhanced indica dominant Diesel with more potency than the original and enhanced yield potential.

New York City Diesel arrived on the scene in the early 2000s, as a cross between landrace strains from Mexico and Afghanistan. It is known for its cerebral, relaxing and pain relieving effects. Acid was one of the earliest Paradise Seeds cannabis strains that gave a distinct twist to a popular original. A Diesel mother plant was crossed with our favorite Dutch genetics to enhance the indica element in this hybrid cannabis plant. This produces a more intense relaxation effect and increased strength. The taste and smell, which inspired the name Acid, is specific – metallic and slightly petrol – in keeping with the distinctive flavor of Sour Diesel. Acid is extremely fruity in the grow room and the bouquet of this cannabis plant is one of the characteristics which makes it so appealing to many growers. The terpene profile is a wonderful balanced mix of Ocimene, Terpinolene, Limonene and Pinene. Once dried the buds retain a hint of fruit. but with an accompanying diesel/metallic taste which was prominent enough to inspire the name of this strain.
